Iron River Emberwright pays homage to Iron River, Wisconsin — named for the deep mineral hue of the river once called Biwabiko-sibi by the Ojibwa. In the late 1800s, the town burned bright as a logging and railroad stronghold, where steam engines hauled timber through frost-heavy forests and forge heat met Northwoods winter.
This bar is commissioned from our self-sustaining open-air biochemical lipid reactor and crafted with locally sourced tallow to protect your skin from winter’s wrath. Its skin-compatible fatty acid profile creates a dense, stable lather that cleanses thoroughly while helping support the moisture barrier — leaving skin fortified, conditioned, and resilient against dry air and cold wind.
The fragrance is warm, resinous, and commanding. Cherrywood burns slow and smooth, layered with rich pipe tobacco that evokes leather gloves, railcars, and lamplit depots at dusk. It is smoky without harshness, woody without sharpness — a refined ember glow rather than an open flame.

Once an order has been placed and processed, it cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded.

Damaged, Lost, or Delayed Shipments
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier (including but not limited to USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.), responsibility for the shipment transfers to the carrier.

Lost or stolen packages
Packages marked as delivered
If your order arrives damaged, you must retain all packaging materials and file a claim directly with the shipping carrier. We will provide reasonable assistance by supplying shipment documentation if requested.
